From here, the worker can see all their available shifts in the Available Shifts section:
Workers can view the details of the event and shift. To request, they click “Request” and confirm.
When a worker has submitted a request, they can remove it by clicking “Remove request” and confirming their choice.

Next, the worker must tap Request on the shift they want to Request & confirm. They will receive confirmation that the request has been submitted.
Shift Request Settings
To manage shift request settings, follow these steps:- Access Settings:
- Blue admin bar - Configuration.
- Then select Settings.
- Click on Shift Options and you’ll find Shift Request at the very top.
- Adjust Settings:
- If Shift Requests Active is toggled on, you can adjust the following settings:
- Comments: Allows workers to submit comments with their shift requests.
- Sign-Up Bot Request: If toggled on, the Sign-Up Bot will contact workers to request their interest. If they respond positively, these responses will be converted into requests. If toggled off, a positive response will directly sign the worker up for the shift.
- Send Text Message on Denial: Sends a text message to the worker if their shift request is denied.
- Send Text Message on Approval: Sends a text message to the worker if their shift request is approved.
- Email Admins on Request Submission: Sends an email to the event admins when a shift request is submitted.
- If Shift Requests Active is toggled off, the five settings above will be greyed out and unavailable for adjustment.
