The testing mode allows you to test out creating schedules or events without contacting any of your workers.

How to turn Silence/Testing Mode on or off

Test mode can be managed from Configuration - Settings - Worker Communication - Silent/Testing Mode. With the mode turned ON, the pink banner will show on the top of the screen.

Think of it as a demo:

This mode sends all communication into a black hole - once you disable Silence Mode, the messages will not get sent out.

It will still contact admins

Although Silence Mode won’t send worker communication, it will still send messages to admins. Use it for testing purposes - see what Roosted can do. Use Silence Mode with Unpublished Shifts and publish them after disabling Silence Mode - That way, workers will be notified that they were added to those shifts while Silence Mode was on.
