In this article, we will explain how to enable or disable various text message notifications for workers through your settings. These notifications can serve as reminders or provide information and are only sent to workers who have disabled push notifications or have not installed the app. They can be managed from Configuration - Settings - Worker Communication - Text Message Notification Options. From this page, you can toggle the following notifications on or off:
  • Worker Removed from Shift:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message when they are removed from a shift.
  • Worker Added to Shift:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message when they are added to a shift.
  • Worker Added as an Alternate on a Shift:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message when they are added as an alternate on a shift.
  • Worker Removed as an Alternate on a Shift:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message when they are removed as an alternate on a shift.
  • Worker Converted from an Alternate to a Regular Shift:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message when they are moved from an alternate position to a regular shift. For more information, see “Alternates.”
  • Punch In Soon Notification:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message reminding them to punch in soon. Adjust the time frame using the sliding scale below the toggle.
  • Punch In Forgotten Notification:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message if they forget to punch in a set time after their shift starts. Adjust the time frame using the sliding scale below the toggle.
  • Punch Out Soon Notification:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message reminding them to punch out a set time before their shift ends. Adjust the time frame using the sliding scale below the toggle.
  • Punch Out Now Notification:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message at the end of their shift (if an end time is specified) reminding them to punch out immediately.
  • Punch Out Forgotten Notification:
  • When enabled, workers will receive a text message if they forget to punch out after a certain time after their shift has ended. Adjust the time frame using the sliding scale below the toggle.
