# Shift Sign-Up

> How to allow your workers to sign up for available shifts?

**Shift Sign-Up** allows your workers to sign up for available shifts, provided they have the required skillset and meet the applicable rules (tags and custom fields) set for the shift. Workers can sign up for shifts in one of two places:

## Desktop/Mobile Browser

From the Desktop or Mobile Browser, a worker can head to their homepage by clicking the house icon in the top right (*workers who are not admin or owners are automatically directed here when the login*).

From this page, the worker can see all their available shifts by clicking Go to Available Shifts.

A worker can view details of the event and to sign-up, they have to click SIGN-UP and confirm!

When a worker has signed up for a shift, they will appear as shown below on the **Main Event Page**.

## Mobile App

On the Mobile App, a worker can log in and tap Available Shifts.

From the next page, choose Sign Up on the shift they want to sign up for and confirm.  The worker will receive confirmation that they have been signed up.

**Shift Sign-Up** is available to workers when you have turned **[Shift Requests](./shift-request)** off through Configuration - Settings - Shift Options - Shift Requests.  If you want your workers to request shifts, opposite to direct sign-up, you can do so by turning **[Shift Requests](./shift-request)** on.
