# Deleting Shifts & Events

> How to permanently delete a shift or event in Roosted?

You can delete individual shifts (skillsets) or an entire event all at once.

## Deleting a Shift

To delete an individual shift (skillset), click the trash can icon on the right side of the blue bar. This will remove specific shift (skillsets). You also have the option to send a notification message upon deletion.

## Deleting an Event

To delete an entire event: click the *Actions* button on the edit page, and choose Delete Event. You can choose to send a message upon deletion.
